Dr. Ajay Kumar Goel has 12+ years of Trauma & Orthopaedic experience. He has been greatly involved in the teaching of under-graduate and post-graduate students. He was attached to University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK as Honorary Associate from 2021-2023. Later, he was involved in the teaching of medical students from Queen Mary University of London while working at Homerton University Hospital, London, UK.
He has been excellent throughout his surgical career and is one of the youngest surgeons from India to achieve prestigious FRCS Trauma & Orth qualification from JCIE (The Joint Committee on Intercollegiate Examinations), UK while training in the United Kingdom. He then decided to move back to India and joined CK Birla CMRI as Consultant Trauma & Joint Replacement Surgeon. He has been attached to multiple prestigious and high-volume institutions both in India and abroad.
He is fellowship trained in the field of joint replacement (robotic-assisted and conventional) as well as Arthroscopy and Sports medicine. He completed his Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine fellowship from BG Unfallklinik, Tübingen, Germany. He did multiple fellowships in joint replacement surgery including fellowship at the reputed Wrightington Hospital, UK and Woodend General Hospital, UK to master the skills of arthroplasty surgery for best possible patient outcomes. He has many podium presentations to his name in national and international conferences. He has publications in peer reviewed journals which shows his commitment in clinical research and improvement of healthcare.
He is member of many prestigious organisations across the world and has been actively involved in the continuous medical education to keep himself updated with the latest technologies. He is member of British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), British Indian Orthopaedic Society (BIOS),The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS, England), Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA), International Society for Knowledge for Surgeons on Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty (ISKSAA), West Bengal Orthopaedic Association (WBOA), National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS, India) and The Association of Surgeons of India (ASI).
